I reached the end after five and a half hours. This game had more depth than I thought it would, and some fun surprises too. One thing I really liked was that — unlike many other turn-based games — you as a player picked the fights yourself. If you were searching for something, you didn’t have to be annoyed by frequent pop-up battles.
A question, though: I never figured out what to do with purchased spells. I bought some, but none of my characters could use them. Were the spells linked with certain weapons?
Glad to hear you liked it. So you buy a spell as an item and when you used the item you are taught the spell. However, only people that can do magic and actually learn the spells, so if that character doesn't have mana, they can't learn or use magic. That's why the lady in the magic store in the Capitol says only magic users can learn them. There are a total of 4 characters that can be in your party and two of them can use magic.
Sorry, I can't remember the party as I deleted my save after finishing the game. The same for what levels, but the final battles were pretty easy as I had spent some time grinding.
Reminds me of games one played a lot during the flash era, so reliving it turns a bit nostalgic. I start at level 1 now, but I found another bug, I think. I have no mana points, but can still exercise magic in battles. You say you are new to this, but I think the game looks pretty professional.
Thank you. Two main characters use TP points, and only two characters can use mana. If you're using the boy you start out with he is using technique points to do techniques. Technique attacks and magic are separate. Magic does a lot more damage. You can find people that do different things to add to your party.

Hey, I wanted to ask you, what level were your party members and who did you have in your party?

Looks good, but I believe something is wrong here. My character is level 99 from the start, and he takes no damage at all in the battles.
Oops, sorry. I forgot to change that from when I was testing. My bad.
Thank you for telling, that's embarrassing. I updated it so you start on level 1, as intended, now.
Hello again. Downloaded the game again, but the issue remained. Still level 99 and unbeatable.
I'm sorry, I'm new to this. It should be fine now, I uploaded the wrong file.
